okay, i use my curling iron and hairspray after how can it stay ? and also, how do you krinkle your hair ? braiding it and leaving it overnight does not work -.-

if you want a permanent curl.. you should go to the salon.. using the curling iron wont have permanent effect on your hair.. same with braiding..

Maybe you're using a bad curling iron. Did you drown your hair in hairspray?

Okay, irons are not safe, why? coz they damage your hair, and it makes your hair dry when you use it everyday. It won't stay because it doesn't have medicine (the one they place).

If you want to spend money, just go to the salon and let them do it. In that way it stays permanently!

there is a crinkling iron, it heats llike a curling iron. I have flat hair and the best thing I have used is Caruso hot steam rollers. When you take the rollers out your hair may be a little damp so let it dry a few minutes. Hold head upside down to brush it out. Poof-it stays.

For long lasting curls you have to wet set. That's simply applying gel or a setting lotion to your hair and rolling your hair after a wash and sitting under a hair dryer until it's dry and pull out the rollers and fluff with your hand or comb through for desired style. The bigger the rollers, the looser the curl and vice versa.

You can krinkle it with a crimping (krimping?) iron, sold where the curling irons are sold as far as I know.

If you use the curling iron the curl stays in best if you use one of the styling spritzes that are aimed for use with curling irons. (Therma Silk makes one). Spritz the hair before you apply the iron, and the iron dries out the spritz.

I have very straight hair, and I find that it helps to go around my head once to "get the straight out" and then again to put the curls in to stay. Maybe its not how professionals would do it, but it works for my straight here.

If you use spray after the curls are out and combed/brushed into place use a spray that has flexibility if you're going to do a lot of combing/brushing because a non-flexible spray will pull out the curls when you comb or brush it. On the other hand, if the hairstyle is to be kind of set into place and not to be combed much again use the "glue kind" of hairspray.

The way I made my hair crinckly/curly in my profile picture...If you click the link below is I used a curling iron called the vidal sasson Gold Series Proffesional 3-Barrel Waver and it is really easy to use. I use the Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray...which you can get all of this at WalMart.

My hair is very silky and hard to keep curls but the waves stay in great. I just take sections of my hair starting underneath, and I spray a little bit of the hairspray on my hair then I clamp the iron down on my hair starting at the roots then unclamp and reclamp working your way down to the bottom. Then when I'm all done i give another spritz of the hairspray...the also have 12hour dehumidifier hairspray by aussie that has less hold that will probably work.
