I have found I am better at braiding my own. I think it is because I can pull my hair as hard as I want and know my own pain tolerance. With other people, they can have sensitive heads and it always ends up looking messy.

It depends on the braid. If you do 2 (on the sides) it is easier to do it yourself, but if it is in the back it is easier on someone else.

not really i love the way they look in my little girls hair but for the life of me i cant do their hair or my own

That depends on what type of braid you are talking about,

I am a hairdresser and their are so many braids,one can do.

I am much better at someone else's hair than my own, and perhaps I am too fussy.

My sister does her own, very nice, and easily, however,

it is a little slopper than when a hairdresser does it.

But it still looks pretty good.

Unfortunately, others. I can braid my hair myself but only if its in the front.

i can do corn rose, or french braid, and even russian, but can only do a traditional braid on myself.
