How long does it take to get your hair done in micro braid?

I would like to have my hair braided in tiny braids so that I can do different styles with it like real hair. Does it take days and days to take out after it's done?

depends on the size of your head and where you go.it can take any where from 31/2 hours to 8 hours. i went to an african hair braiding salon and 2 girls braided my hair at the same time. one worked on the front and the other on the back. i suggest that u take a couple of tylenols before you go to ease the pain because some people braid tighter than others. i would start in the middle of my hair towards the back when taking them out because you will get tired and if you have to go somewhere before you finish taking them out you will be able to pull your hair back into a ponytail without anyone noticing that u arent finished. and i would definately get help taking them out!!!

OK, don't listen to those who says 1 week, or so. Micro Braids can be done and be completed in one day. The problem is it takes hours. As someone say it depends on who you go to, or go to a professional..Still she left something out. even if you know what you are doing it depends on how fast the person id doing your hair moves. Some hairdresser does it like 5 times or so for the week, so they improve on their speed time and time again. Still it could take you between 5-10hrs do micro braids. Plus it depends on how micro you are going and how long or short your hair is plus how thick or thin it is too. make sure your butt is well cushioned because you gonna need it girl.

IT all depends on who you go to. I've had pros do mine and I've had my cousins friends do mine. They are all different. You best bet would be to ask around and see what people around your neighborhood have to say. Once when I got micros, it took about 5-7 hours. It took me about a day and a half to take them out. Another time I got them done it took about 3 weeks because, my sister starting them and didn't finish. I had to go overseas and find someone there to finish what she started. When I got ready to take those out, it took about 3 days. Also, make sure you check to see if the person is a good braider. Just because the person is fast doesn't make them good. U don't want braids spilling out as soon as u get up from the floor, (chair, whatever). There was this one time, I had braid coming out of my head 3 to 5 at a time. That defeated the whole purpose of me sitting there all that time getting them done. But, it also depends on the type of hair you decide to use too. Wet 'n Wavy is better in my opinion.
