Head lice on braided hair?

I have cacasion like hair. I went on vacation and got my full hair braided with cornrows at the top, now i think i have LICE... again! How can i get rid of them without disturbing my new hair style??? And are they able to live with some of the scalp exposed?

I'm sorry, the only way to remove the nits is to use a comb, so you are going to have to unbraid your hair.



BTW, the person who said that lice like dirty hair is wrong, lice actually prefer clean hair.

The big thing with the treatments is that you have to comb to get the nits out- I'm sorry, but I think you are going to have to un-braid to treat the infestation.

I'm sorry to say but you need to take the braids out.Lice like dirty hair.They will inbed in your braids.

Your going to have to get some strong lice shampoo if it was a reinfection..You cant get rid of them without undoin your hair.. you must undo it sweetie =( im sorry.. i know how long it took to get those braids.. ive had them done before..



actually lice like clean hair.. they dont like dirty hair... so the lady who said they like dirty was wrong..
