How do you dip your hair when it is braided with fake hair but you dont want the ends to be puffy???

I just got my hair braided and the last time i did my mom braided the braids to make it crimpy and dipped it but i have never had the ends straight cause i used to put rubberbands.So how do i dip the ends without it being puffy or if I just dip it after it is braided will it come out straight

i am a professional African hair braider. As soon as you dip t he hair in water it will get straight. just boil the water for like 15 minutes and dip the ends of the braids in it. you dont have to do anything else. if you want it curly braid it then dip it.

I hope you are braiding with human hair and not kenikolon (plastic hair).

Real hair will get puffy but you can flat iron it. Plastic hair will just melt.
