I did two french braids in my hair after I washed my hair and I'm going to sleep in them. I was wondering how I get the waves to stay in my hair when I take the braids out in the morning? Would hairspray work? Pomade, gel, mousse?

use a little gel or mousse before you braid it... the most important thing is that it dries completely, otherwise it wont stay

if you need to, blow dry your hair a little before you braid it

i suggest instead of french braiding, put your hair in a bun when you come out of the shower. my hairs natuarlly kinda wavy and gets pretty curly when i do that, but i looks pretty. if you have thinner hair, try it. it should work. as for it staying all day, hairspray should work. good luck!

Try mousse. Then spray your hair with a humidity control spray. If you do not spray with a humidity control spray once you go outside it will slowly relax.
