Can braiding wet hair and then blow drying it make it curly?

Has anyone tried it? I don't have a curling iron and I have super straight hair and I want a change. I don't want to try it if it doesn't work because it takes me like 2 hours to braid my entire head.

it will make it wavy, twisting it could make it curly depending on your hair type

sleep with it braided and it will be wavy tommorrow. Next time you want a change for a day or so, try some wash and curl. It is on the shampoo aisle at walmart with the special shampoos, and it is cheap too.

you don't have to braid your entire head just do to braids one on each side then blow dry and then leave it braided still and go to bed and the next morning then take it out. you can also try some shampoo's that helps show wavyness or curlyness but there usually the same because waves are just smaller forms of curls.

try braiding the day before so by morning it will be semi or completely dry depending on how thick your hair is, put mousse or gel in it before braiding so it will hold the curl ........once you take the braids out you can blow dry on low and style....i would put some kind of finishing spray or hairspray in your hair,so through out the day it wont go flat.
