Can two strand twist be done with regular braiding hair, not the kinky twist hair?

I was wondering if anyone has ever had twist done on their hair with the synthetic hair that is normally used for cornrows, or if anyone just knew how this would turn out.

well regular braiding hair is the same as kinky twist hair, the same materials anyway. kinky hair is just... kinky, the makers just use a crimpign machine to give it some texture.

i've used both and have had positive results. i think braiders/twisters prefer the kiny twist because its easier to twist/braid with some sort of texture to hair. ask the person who will be doing your hair what they prefer. and the price tends to be a little more for kinky twist hair, but in my opinion, its worth it.

(which is why its advised not get a perm before getting braids/twists, because the braid/twist is more likely to slide out from the roots on straight hair than new growth)
