How many waves should i do..my hair is kind of short..

Get cornrows (without a weave, maybe you can get a ponytail weave to make it look longer after you get it cornrowed) and sleep with a scarf on for a few days, or a week if you want your waves to hold better. When you unbraid it, it'll kink. Comb it out with a wide-toothed comb and use some clear spirtz and light grease (not gel) to make it hold. If you want waves and not kinks, brush your hair out with a soft-bristled brush and still use the spirtz and the light grease.

That depends on your ethnicity of course ... what I just said it what black girls, mixed girls (like me), or Hispanic girls with thick hair do. If your hair won't take cornrows, I dunno what to tell ya cuz I don't know how to deal with that texture hair.

I use to braid my hair every night before I went to bed for school the next day. I usually only put two in since I have long hair. I would experiment with your hair and see what you like. 4 sounds good.

just braid all the hair on ur head, cuz then it wont be like straight, wavy, straight, wavy. to get bigger waves, use larger portions of ur hair. to get small waves to smaller portions, but if you do the too small, it might make ur hair look crimped, and u might not want that.

I braid my hair every night to get it looking wavy and my hairs 2inches below my shoulders I suggest you try four braids if your hairs short and add a bit of gel [ it gives your waves more of natural/texturised look] using a silk cap would help but its not a must hope it works!
