I like to french braid/braid my hair to make my hair more wavy but whenever I take them out, the top part of my hair (like the roots and lower) aren't wavy. It's always straight like the rest of my hair. How do i make the roots wavy? And yeah, I've tried french braiding the hair closest to the roots.

do it when your hair is wet and spray some hairspray.
also trying doing two french braids so there tighter and that way all of the hairs are wrapped around more and just spray hairspary gently or a styling spray not to much though.

brad the top part of your hair on your crown just normally. Then normally french braid the rest of hyour hair.
