I am an African, and I will like to know how I can get a job braiding hair at a Hair Salon?

Do I need to be certified? do I just walk into a shop and tell them I can braid? do I need to take pics of the hair styles I have done so far? What do I do?

You can go into the shop and tell them that you can braid and you're good at it. You don't need to be certified. Pics would help though.
