Re: Braiding hair?

I had braids once when i was in Spain- like cheap thing where cotton was wired around the hair and ended with beads.

I'm wondering cause my hair is ultra short i could have them but ask the stylist to make them about shoulder length. Is that possible??

If so would it hinder the growth of my really hair and/or damage it??

Thanks for your help!!

Re: Braiding hair?

Braids don't hinder the growth of your hair many black women get their hair braided to help grow it out. Make sure you find a good braid spray. If you can find a beauty supply shop in your area that caters to ethnic hair, they generally have synthetic braiding hair for as low and .99 cents a package you would have to ask the braider that is going to do you hair how many packages you will need. They can make them as long or as short as you want them.

Re: Braiding hair?

Yes you can get individual braids like micros or box braids that way you can wear them in differents styles, like in a ponytail high or low or where them down like long hair or half up and half down. Good luck to ya!! Report It

Re: Braiding hair?

i think that they dont always look that great.

you have to be careful because they defintley can look tacky and make you look like a tourist.

but if they look good then go for it.

and it probably will give you split ends
